Want to make HARD, REPETITIVE work easy?
I have just the thing… Mushroom Coffee!
Possibly, but after a few months of rigorous testing, I’ve found that lions mane has completely altered the way I tackle hard repetitive work.
“How?!?!” you may scream.
To put it simply, it narrows my focus, enhances my energy levels and improves my memory and creativity.
What’s truly astonishing is the fact that lions mane also improves overall health.
In a way it’s the ultimate win-win nootropic.

Lions Mane Benefits
What could a Mushroom really do for cognitive function?
A HELL OF A LOT!
I add 1 gram to my morning coffee and I can guarantee I’ll have razor-like focus for the next 3 – 4 hours.
In that 3 – 4 hours I’ll usually achieve 6 hours worth of work, sometimes more.
Well, once I pop on some writing music, have a nice cup of freshly ground coffee with lions mane, my mind knocks out the distractions…
…No more article reading.
…No more fidgeting.
…No more wanting to check emails.
At this point, all I want to do is get results and achieve great work.
Recently, since I’ve bumped up my diet and started adding nootropics like Lions Mane and L-Theanine into my life I’ve noticed an ability inside my brain.
“What is it?”
It’s the ability to learn new things at an exceptional rate.
Well, I’ve been looking at bike mechanics, house building, gardening, and piano.
Some would say hard subjects.
However, after reading up on the subjects I’ve found that I can learn and act perfectly upon the advice I’ve been given and have it work.
Better than that I have a constant calling inside my brain telling me that I can learn anything and it’s encouraging me to find new creative things to work on.
You don’t know how powerful your memory is until you get to use a large part of it.
So far on Lions Mane, I’ve had no problem accessing different parts of my brain, remembering stuff I never was able too.
I also notice that I can watch or read something and remember it in the smallest of details…
…Now I don’t know if everyone will get these results, as I have a pretty good memory to start with, but I promise that the above is an exact representation of how my brain is working right now.
I take Yerba Mate tea for creativity and I’m yet to mix both together, I will say this, I see less of a boost in creativity and more of a boost in flow.
So my creativity stays the same, but the ability to get sucked into a task and fully immersed stays, and for a dyslexic guy, who likes to have 10 tabs open and do 5 things at once, that’s extremely handy.
It gets BETTER… Here’s a Breakdown of some of the pure HEALTH benefits:
- Aids Digestion.
- Helps Maintain A Healthy Nerve System
- Acts as a natural anti-depressant
- Enhances Immune system
- Lowers High Cholesterol
- Decreases Inflammation
Not only does it help cognitive function it also achieves all the above health benefits.

Side note: This is a workman/woman supplement.
It helps me work with amazing focus, but it’s not a socializing nootropic as it makes me a little too focused on work and not play.
However, L-Theanine is perfect for anxiety prevention and social situations.
What Lions Mane Supplement Do I Take?
It’s pretty TOP SECRET, to be honest.
Ahhh… Okay, I’ll tell you anyway.
At the beginning I was a BIG fan of this lion’s mane instant coffee, I still am, but due to only having one coffee a day and that coffee being made with light roast coffee beans ground by me, I stopped having space in my day for instant coffee.
Then something incredible happened…
…I got this lion’s mane powdered supplement as a gift.
The GAME suddenly changed. I started being able to mix my pure lions mane with a high powered fresh cup of joe.
Price… I was saving $$
Taste… Nothing beats freshly ground coffee
The nootropic value… That stayed the same with one BIG but, the Four Stigma blend I’m super sensitive too, just half a sachet and I’m blasting work, but any more and I get a little jittery, whereas with my Lions mane blend that never happens.
Most effective Way To Take This Mushroom
I take Lions Man one of two ways, either mixed into my morning, freshly ground coffee:
Or when I’m in serious need of focus I make a powerful energy shot of turmeric (2 grams), half a lemon and lions mane:
It’s enough to put hairs on the back of anybody’s neck but will kick you into focus within 10 minutes.
You can also take it in water and in most tea’s, just be aware that heat can burn off some of that mighty goodness.
Where To Buy Lions Mane
You can buy lions mane in pill and powder form.
I’ve personally always preferred powder due to cost and the added benefit of not having to digest the capsules shell.
After testing various brands I’ve selected the most effective, in cost, benefits and user reviews and that is all down below.
I’ve also added another special mix and a lion’s mane capsule, to suit everyone.
As a note, always be SERIOUSLY careful when buying supplements online.
Especially nootropics. I did an article about safe brands, as there’s lots of fakes and bad quality products around.
I give you my word that the products I’m showing you have been tested and are sold by sellers I trust and use.
My Favourite Lions Mane Powder
- It mixes easily
- Doesn’t have a bad taste, actually a-little sweet (unlike some)
- It’s Vegan, Non GMO, Gluten-Free, Cosher Checked and Organic.
- The potency is perfect.
- The price is amazing
- It has 95 reviews with a solid 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon.
Tip: dose 1 gram per day, 3 grams is still healthy, but after testing I’ve found that there’s no difference between 1 and 3 grams, so best to do the smaller dose.
Highlights remain the same as the above excluding the reviews…
…But the price is a little cheaper and it’s easier to take for those who are in a rush.
The effects don’t change, just make sure you take it before food and with a nice glass of water.
Four Stigma is a truly epic brand.
The main reason is that they create coffee with different types of mushrooms, spices, and roots that help you gain focus.
After trying a few different types I can vouch and say that their coffee is one of the greatest nootropic boosts I’ve achieved.
I take this Four Stigma coffee and the only downside is the price.
It’s on the pricey side, that’s why it should only be taken once a week as a secret weapon on hard days.
Advice: Don’t take a whole sachet first time… Trust me.
As a coffee drinker, this got me over stimulated and made me a little too focused, I’ve found much better results with half sachets… At least for now.
Side Effects Of Lions Mane
There’s no health side-effects in all the research I’ve read and the experiences I’ve had.
There’s also a lot of healing properties inside this mushroom, so if anything it’s better to take it than not.
However, sometimes what you wish for is not what you want…
Focus: We all want focus am I right? Totally.
But, from my experience Lion’s mane isn’t a social nootropic, meaning once you take it all you will want to do is work, or at least be useful.
Whether that means cleaning, cooking, shopping, even doing DIY, this nootropic wasn’t made to be taken at a dinner party… Unless you like hearing work call you from all sides begging you to come back.
If you want a social nootropic then go for Caffeine, mixed with L-Theanine, it’s perfect for confidence and anxiety prevention.
Over-Stimulation: I’m highly stimulated by caffeine, a little goes a long way. If you’re the same, make sure you cycle it and have a rest every other day, it will save you from getting a little too switched on.
That’s really the only side-effects that I’ve noticed and the first is the actual reason I take this bad boy.
There you have it, this is my full experience with lions mane and as it stands I truly recommend this supplement for anyone who works on a PC, especially to aid those repetitive tasks.
Anyhow, have a lovely day and if you need any advice, message me or leave a comment below… As always I have one question for you…
